Wow! I miss having all of our guys friends. This semester I have all this free time but no one to spend it with. Currently Stacie and I are sitting in our apartment alone eating ice cream and moping about how our friends ditched us. Lame!! Last semester was so much fun cause we had friends. Now I am already ahead in almost all of my classes and still have time to spare. It sounds great but believe me the grass is always greener on the other side. All this free time gives me plenty of time to think about how I have no friends outside of my apartment. Basically no one wants us. The saddest thing was when we going to be like an hour and a half late to the barn dance no one cared! not a single person texted us and said, "hey where are you guys?!" For me the worst feeling in the world is feeling unwanted. :(

Winter Chiorfest

On Saturday, January 23rd Stacie, Shane, Katie, Brook, Cameron and I went to Danielle and Sarah's Choir Concert at the Provo Tabernacle. It was awesome! The coolest song was a crazy Indian song sung by Men's Chorus. The song started by the boys all oohing a very dissonant chord. Through out the song some guys would make animal songs, like birds and howling and stuff it was really cool. I also really enjoyed the My God is a Rock song that I had heard Danielle and Sarah sing a million times and that I already had practically memorized. It kind of stunk though because Katie and Brooke hadn't bought tickets before hand and the tickets sold out before they bought one. So for the first half of the concert they were stuck out in the lobby trying to figure out a way to either get into the concert of get a ride home. Stacie went outside to try to talk to the people in charge because we had two empty spots on our bench. Finally a woman and her daughter were leaving so they gave Brooke and Katie their tickets but the woman at the door thought that Stacie had brought them the tickets trying to smuggle them in. Fianlly they convinced her otherwise so they were able to make it just in time to hear the cool Indian song.

After the concert we went to The Malt Shoppe and had a good time just hanging out.

Yee Haw!

On Friday, January 22rd, our stake had a big barn dance in a huge barn in the middle of nowhere. Stacie, Kellie, and I arrived fashionably late of course because they were having crisis's about their hair and outfits. Our ward color was red so Kellie and Stacie bought us all red cowgirlish shirts.

We started talking with friends from our ward and ended up cutting half of the food line which was just fine with me! We ate the yummy food using a big hay bale as a table and we then ran into our FHE brothers.

For me the best part was going around the barn and taking pictures with Cameron Carr as our photographer. Kellie loves western stuff so she was super excited to take pictures with a cow sign and tractor.

After taking eating and pictures we joined in the dancing. I am not not on dancing, I just feel so awkward, so it took me while to get into it. But I love my ward! Everyone from my ward was right at the front of the dance dancing the whole time and at the end almost everyone else had gone home leaving just our entire group still dancing. We are such a tight nit ward.

While we were dancing and having a good time, it snowed a whole bunch and so when it was time to go home, the only road out of the barn was completely covered in ice. So the cars had to leave one by one down the hill. It was kind of scary. So to pass the time the remained of our ward had a dance party outside.

I love working at the Creamery!

Elder Scott came into the BYU Creamery on Ninth East on January 11th and he ordered a bacon cheese burger!! He was so nice! I actually felt kinda bad for him because he was just trying to eat his lunch but people wouldn't leave him alone. At one point he was holding his burger with one hand and shaking hands with the other. So we waited till after he finished eating then asked if he would take a picture with us and he was so nice about it!
